What If You Did It Bigger? | by Jennifer Slukynsky
There’s this little voice we all hear sometimes—the one that nudges us when we’re playing it safe. It whispers questions like: What if you went for it? What if you stopped shrinking your dream? What if you did it… bigger?
Most of us are taught to start small, stay reasonable, avoid disappointment. And there’s wisdom in pacing yourself, sure. But let’s also be honest—there’s power in going big.
What does “doing it bigger” mean? It doesn’t always mean louder, more expensive, or more public. It means stretching into the fullest version of whatever it is you’re creating, choosing, building, or becoming. It means letting yourself take up space, saying yes to the big idea, the bold design, the wild trip, or the vulnerable ask.
Doing it bigger might mean:
-
Saying “I’m ready” before you feel 100% qualified.
-
Pitching the dream client instead of waiting to feel “legit.”
-
Turning your passion project into a business—or your business into a brand.
-
Sharing your art, your voice, or your story in a way that feels braver than before.
-
Choosing experiences over safety. Vision over perfection. Movement over hesitation.
It’s not about hustle culture.
It’s about expansion—from the inside out.
Doing it bigger is an invitation: to stop dimming, stop editing, stop delaying the real you in favor of the smaller version you think is more acceptable.
The world doesn’t need more perfectly curated lives. It needs more people who are lit up by what they’re doing, who are willing to risk the awkward middle for the beautiful big thing they feel called to build.
So if you’re waiting for a sign—this might be it.
Dream bigger. Go bolder. Say it louder. Create it fuller. Love it harder.
Do it. Bigger.
